Mehmet Ali Cengiz graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Turkey, with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in 2014. Since the beginning of his career, he has worked exclusively in private practice, focusing on the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Over the years, Mehmet has completed extensive postgraduate training through a variety of international continuing education programs. His clinical education includes Certified Manual Therapy training, the Mulligan Concept, NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT Level 1), and Dry Needling/IMS certification in British Columbia. He has also developed advanced skills in joint mobilization, manipulation, soft tissue therapy, myofascial techniques, and movement-based rehabilitation.

In 2021, Mehmet relocated to Canada and successfully completed the Canadian licensing process, becoming a Registered Physiotherapist in British Columbia in 2022. Since then, he has continued to work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals recover from acute and chronic injuries, spinal and joint conditions, sports-related injuries, repetitive strain disorders, and motor vehicle accident-related injuries.

Mehmet believes that successful rehabilitation requires more than symptom relief alone. His treatment approach combines evidence-informed manual therapy with individualized exercise prescription to address the root causes of pain, restore optimal movement patterns, and support long-term recovery. He places a strong emphasis on hands-on treatment, patient education, and active rehabilitation to help patients return to their daily activities, work, and sports with confidence.

In 2025, Mehmet assumed ownership and management of Active Precision Physio & Sport Therapy in Vancouver. As both the clinic owner and treating physiotherapist, he continues to provide individualized, one-on-one care with a focus on restoring function, reducing pain, and optimizing long-term physical performance.
